Chronic disease in the time of COVID-19 - a population epidemiology perspective
Kelly will provide an epidemiological perspective on the impacts of COVID19 on current and future chronic disease burden in Tasmania.
Dr Kelly Shaw is a practicing clinician and public health physician. She was formerly Director of Population Epidemiology and Deputy Chief Health Officer for Tasmania. Kelly has published numerous practice standards and health care guidelines. She currently works as a public health physician and clinical lead for Primary Health Tasmania, a non-government, not for profit organisation working to connect care and keep Tasmanians well and out of hospital.
