Jonathan Stone

Master of Ceremonies

Jonathan isn’t your average MC – he isn’t there to just introduce sessions and speakers – he’s determined to ensure your conference is a welcome environment for creative thinking.   He’ll encourage you to take the very most from each session and use what you’ve learnt to find new and innovative ways of working.  He’ll challenge your thought processes and encourage discussion.

For Jonathon silence is not an option! Expect a high level of interaction, conversation and fun – and come prepared to talk, question and contribute.

Jonathan  Stone heads up 55M, a Tasmanian-based People Advisory Business.  Jonathan's work focuses on establishing the conditions necessary for high performance, a whole system and work design approach that enables sustainable cultural change.

He helps organisations identify where teaming is critical, assessing team performance and helping to establish, systems, processes and the conditions so that teams can deliver sustainable results today and into the future. By working collectively and across boundaries by breaking out of operational silos.

He focuses on teams of leaders.

Teams, rather than individuals, are the units on which organisations, institutions, government departments and sectors can focus to improve individual and collective capability, which in turn drives collaboration, change and agility.

He does much work with executive and transformational teams, though more and more he is focusing on non-traditional teams where teaming is needed. With a particular interest where teaming is required cross boundaries to solve wicked problems. Jonathan supports clients during critical moments, in environments where success is their ability to have dynamic collaboration across multiple stakeholders and ecosystems characterised by uncertainty, ambiguity and high pressure.
